HTC One M9 reviews:

User Opinion 1:

Why not just take a 5" SD810 phone with 25% more speed, 50 % better gpu performance & better battery life aswell... I really can't see why anyone would want a 2k or even 4k display when there are little to no gains compared to FHD on such a small screen. & BTW i prefer 5"

User Opinion 2:

There's no need of QHD, let alone UHD on smartphones around this size. These kinds of display not only worsen the performance, but they suck the battery like a vampire as well. In order to compensate the battery life, the smartphone needs a bigger battery, which in turn makes the smartphone bigger, and thicker. You don't want a 15mm thick phone, do you?

Besides, what's the point of having a ridiculous amount of pixels in a 5"-5.5" display? You're unlikely to benefit from the pixel density unless you regularly watch the screen at an extremely close distance.*

You might say that S810 will compensate for the performance loss. Well, to be honest you might be true. But why not utilise the beastly S810 with the humble FHD for much much better performance, with virtually 0 lags at all.

Looks like I've given the points necessary to counter your statement. Therefore, I will not response to any further arguments. Period.

User Opinion 3:

Must read this HTC got good reputation and sales past two years, but now with this phone M9 HTC may not carry the same, since it carries almost same features of M8 and Samsung galaxy S6 rocks with entirely new hardware and design. lets go detailed comparison with the spec of it individually in terms of battery
1. Same screen from m8 to m9 same so battery consumption will be same
2. Upgraded processor from 32bit to 64bit thats a good news but 64bit battery consumption will be more and as Samsung stated {when it was testing snapdragon for s6} 810 64bit was consuming more percent of battery than expected 64bit does and also heat dissipation is more, so how ever is buying this phone for gaming should buy a cooling pad{or else cooling case} like laptops use.
3. Same ram type ddr3 but 3gb of size, coming toward battery it could vary a little but towards -ve only.
4. Rest of them are same but Bluetooth is 4.1v so i can see one plus point for m9.
So who ever wants to buy this phone should actually think about the battery since M8 battery couldn't even last for one complete day and same could happen with M9 or even worst even it has 240mAh battery bigger than m8. Actually you should take Samsung Galaxy S6 into the consideration while buying.

User Opinion 4:

Things a phone in 2015 should have to be HIGH END:

- SD Card (you brake ur phone, say good bye to ur data)
- Waterproof (do i need to explain?!)
- FHD or QHD display
- NO MORE THAN 5.0 INCHES (Get a note or a phablet if you want more!)
- 4GB RAM
- a good camera that has:
- the NEGATIVE effect - i'm a photographer
- touch to focus (no auto bs)
- I don't care about the front one, i'm not an obsessed chick about selfies & Facebook - i covered mine with black tape :D)
- 3000+ mAh battery (doesn't matter if it comes out or not)
There's a lot more, but I think these are the main ingredients from MY point of view.. Salt&Pepper as u wish :)

P.S. For those who have the idiot ideea 2-3GB of RAM is enough: Since I've bought my smartphone, I haven't touched my PC. PC's are so yesterday's thing! Adapt or die in a dusty shelf..
EVOLVE!

User Opinion 5:

well for me that is a massive upgrade from my Exynos 4412 S3
o just got bored from it and smashed that old laggy phone really hard
after comparing both hands-on of the galaxy S6 and the Htc M9, i like Htc Sense 7 more
it is blazing fast
and more usable IMO
as for the S810 thing, i think that this chip IS good. And maybe the slightly lower than expected benchmarks in some areas is due to unfinalised software not more.
Plus, i don't think i need more power than that on a FHD phone.
BoomSound just got more awesome
Camera is OK for me. I don't snap photos that much
This is most probably my next device :) and i am happy to say that
No matter how the galaxy S6 edges it out in benchmarks, i guess that both devices will be both excellent for real life usage. S810 has enough power to drive you with your phone safely like the Exynos 7420, specially that HTC M9 metal structure dissipates the extra heat from the phone, if it is present.
So, this phone is my next one. I learnt never to buy a Sammy product with its homemade exynos again, by hard.
HTC M9, i am sold out for you!!!
