Motorola Nexus 6 reviews:

User Opinion 1:

Your Huawei Mediapad X1 does use which operating system? Android OS right meaning it is probably running Android 4.4.4 and add on top some apps, options and features.

1. Without Android OS your Huawei Mediapad X1 is useless.
2. Base on Android the add more features, apps on UI and makes it slower than the Stock Android.
3. All those add need more time when come to release the update for the latest version of Android OS. You will always wait 3 to 6 month to get the update.
4. Google policy have change because they want the Android experience to be able for everyone. Reason why even though the Android Lollipop have made for phone that can run on 64 bit, which require at least 2Gb ram to be fully functional for the CPU to comes with 64 bit, Google make sure the Lollipop can also run on low end phone which have 512Mb ram only to give everyone the latest add on Android OS. Phone like the GS3 will not receive Lollipop while even the GS1 can receive the update.

You are fan of Huawei which depending on Android OS that belong to Google and give you the OS for free. So please some respect for that.

User Opinion 2:

No dual SIM
Dual SIM isn't a special specs because low end and mid-range phone like Moto G have dual SIM and it depend of the low of that country and network providers like verizon in USA will not allowed dual SIM port on any phone released in USA on his network.

So dual SIM is not a reason

No ultra power saving mode

Nexus 6 with Lollipop save up to 90 minutes on low battery level. As the Nexus 6 come with a battery of 3220mAh just like the Note 4 the Nexus 6 battery saving feature that can extend a phone's life by up to 90 minutes.

You don't know what you are talking about.

No fast charging

The Nexus 6 come with Moto Turbo charger, which can charge the phone back up to six hours worth of battery life in 15 minutes.

No multi screen

Useful spec which is not able on the Nexus or many other devices. Only the Samsung high end phones have the options but it will not be as important that to get the latest OS from Google.

No swipe screen shot

Very useless function, Lollipop bring better functions, animations, notifications, options than the "Swipe screen shot"

No expansion memory

Only those doesn't know many still talking about expanding the memory. The Nexus 6 can expand the memory with a OTG USB memory up to 64Gb.

Not QHD super AMOLED display

Nexus 6 come with AMOLED display QHD, the only difference is that the Note 4 have super AMOLED display but the rest are the same.

Non-removable battery

The iPhones series never have battery removable but people still buy it, Motorola Droid Maxx was the best and lasting battery smartphone ever with no removable battery.

No infrared

Very old option on a phone

Nexus 6 will rock

User Opinion 3:

Nexus 5? Could your Nexus 5 beat or rival the Galaxy Note 3 in hardware sector? Clearly no but the Nexus 6 take to the Galaxy Note 4 in hardware sector and win the game by giving the latest android OS on the almost similar inch 5.9 vs 5.7 because the big screen phone sell millions even iPhone get it right and it works.

While you people are busy hating the Nexus 6, a lot of people get very excited about it.

They are so many positive features on the Nexus 6 that the Nexus 5 never has like.

1. First Nexus ever made Water resistant
2. Snapdragon 805
3. 3Gb Ram
4. Turbo charger gives up to 6 hours of power in 1 minutes this is crazy wow.
5. Qi wireless charging built-in
6. More sensors than the Nexus 5 (Accelerometer, Gyro, Magnetometer, Prox, Ambient Light Sensor, Haptics, Hall effect, Barometer)
7. Better camera :
13 MP IMX 214 Image Sensor
f / 2.0 aperture
Optical Image Stabilization
Ring flash with dual LEDs
4K UHD video capture
2160p (4K) UHD, 1080p HD and 720p HD video capture modes (30fps)
4X digital zoom HDR+
Panorama, PhotoSphere and Lens Blur

User Opinion 4:

Doesn't have removable battery. I keep a phone 2-3 years - which is longer than life span of battery. Used for business and can't take chance of having dead battery a end of long day.
No removable memory. Not too big a deal but not a +.
No wifi calling feature on T-Mobile U.S. Use it for free calling back to U.S. when overseas.

Plus is that is has all the newest bands used in U.S.
Doesn't have bloatware.
Another plus is that if you have one - you can brag to the Apple fanatics that my Nexus costs MORE than your ifone. Money = power.

User Opinion 5:

All those functions you find on Samsung Touchwiz are mostly useless.

1. Air gesture

Air Gesture doesn't work with any web browsers other than the default browser. Why to browser pictures, videos, music with hand gesture?

Only the "Quick Glance" hand gesture does pretty well because When the screen is off and you swipe your hand above it, a special lock screen comes up with the date and time, telling if you've received any new e-mails, texts or phone calls.

2. Air View

Online only works with default browser and why do you need it for before playing a video. Playing video by long press on index and all that still useless.

3. Smart Scroll

In practice, Smart Scroll is quite an impressive feature—as long as you're standing more or less still. If you're walking down the street, or if there are people in the background, it doesn't work as well. When the conditions are just right, Smart Scroll is a pretty cool gimmick, but it isn't particularly revolutionary and certainly isn't something you can't live without.

4. Smart Pause

When watching a movie and tour your hands the movie pause this only work in the player can't use on YouTube for example and still sometimes I don't need the pause.

5. S Translator

I can't even comments here so useless. I never like it and use offline Translator apps because this is still poor and require Internet.

6. The S Pen isn't used by everyone and personality I was stressing about the lost of the pen. At the end I just wanted to go without the pen.

7. All those apps and the Touchwiz eat up the Ram and slow down the speed of the phone. Note that all the Samsung Touchwiz apps depending on the Android OS meaning when press for operation the processor first read and act on android then go to the other process to the Touchwiz apps. Making it low although most of High end from Samsung are powerful but the speed test demonstrate the mid-range phone Moto G beat on speed the GS5 just because the Moto G run almost stock and are well optimized with free Ram.

8. The update time line take longer and once released still need to fix bugs that involved those apps that need to be well optimized for the lastest android OS. It's even wast because the update after 2 years of use become more difficult to finalized and release.

Reason, Lollipop can be installed to the phone with, 512Mb Ram and just work fine but Samsung announced update for the high phone only but not all of them only GS5 and Note 4.

So, the reste will take longer and some will not even receive it like the GS3.

While Motorola after the Nexus 5 got the android 4.4.4, Motorola updated is phones just 14 days after and break the record of update but give even the low end phone the update. As now the Moto E, Moto G, Moto G 2014, Moto X, Moto X 2014, Droid Mini, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx, they all have android 4.4.4.

9. Lollipop aka Android 5

Lollipop is a very mature OS ever released by Google. You can even love the UI.

The Notification got much better, Lollipop doesn't eat to much ram still require only 512Mb.

The security go to the expectations, the OS have more battery jus and improve in so many aspects.

While Lollipop getting much better and useful the touchwiz UI are getting less interest that the sad reality.

Nexus 6 will rock.
