Hello.I am a Redmi 4G user for about 3 months. The phone looks great and I am not facing any issues with it. I will surely recommend this mobile to you. Only one major problem I faced was the phone got heated when I had inserted by class 2 SD card. I think it dissent support that. So I have changed it to class 10 . Now it works like a charm!!!

kindly refer below points before purchase this mobile.
During listen music it stops automatically.
13 megapixels is just working as normal phone camera.
During recording of video camera it automatically becomes black and stops a while and black and white.
Battery backup is very poor.
It hangs between blousing net.

Battery is awesome. I charge once and I use it for three days !!!. Dont use any battery doctors. Use the security tool to properly configure the battery. I usually have edge always on , I use a lot of wifi at home , I use facebook and whatsapp and music player all the time. Also I make call everyday for 45min to 1 hour. Once in flight I watched a 2 hours movie in vlc player and battery drained from 90 percent to 78 percent. :P Keep brighness at 30 percent for better battery life. Dont over charge and charge once u r below 50 percent. Reboot your mobile atleast two to three times in a week.

Dont purchase this phone. this is very worsty mobile.below are the problems:
1: Low picture calarity.
2: Heating during charging and talking with phone.
3: Phone hangs between brousing net.
4: Picture clarity is not good.
5: Low charging.
6: slow operating.
7: camera clarity is very bad.
8: 13 mega pixel written but it works as 2 megapixel.

Note: dont take this model. if you will take then you will realize later.

For all those people who are facing problem because of the camera you should clear your cache memory . you can do that by clicking the volume down button and power button simultaneously till the Mi logo comes
1 select the language as english
2 click on the wipe and restore
Note - the touchscreen will not work at that time .you will have to use the volume up and down button for scrolling and for selecting use the power button

3 then click on wipe cache
4 select yes
5 click the back option and select the reboot option

And now for those of you who are having heating problem you can check the battery tempreture by dialing *#*#4636#*#*

Remember your battery tempreture should not exceed more than 50 degree ,If it is then you should visit the service center

For long bettery life do not over charge the handset and minimal use while charging
