Rear camera no doubt that 830 has excellent one
when compared to 730. Front camera normally
used for video call streaming and selfie and for
both 830 is just excellent. Only thing while taking
selfie use the lumia selfie app for best result.
Apart from the above would like to say this once
again. 830 is a very solid phone with metal
casing around. No problems at all with IPS
display. This phone is future ready and will get
windows 10 and others in future and easily can be
used for 2 years at least. Its really value for
money and great phone with excellent speake.

I have been using this phone for almost 10 days now , knowing that i used to own an iphone and a lumia 720 before now let's move to what i really think about this phone.

Camera : Camera is very good , but if you really want to take some really good pictures you need to use the manual mode which is easy to learn , i found the AUTO mode of the camera not performing well in some conditions like indoor , but when i interfere manually the pictures are much better but i believe that will be improved in the new Lumia camera coming up this quarter with dynamic flash and lots of amazing features , and also the ability to control shutter speed for up to 4 seconds is very good you will be able to make amazing effects using this feature and take perfect pics under low light conditions , Frond camera is not very good for selfies it's just good enough for video calls but you can take very good selfies with the back camera using the lumia selfie app which automatically takes a pic when it detects someone in the frame

Screen : Screen is good but not amazing , it's 720P with 294 PPI which is more then enough for me but the screen colors are not as punchy and vivid as you would find in an amoled screen .

Quality : The phone quality is just amazing , phone is thin , light and has a surrounding aluminum frame that makes the phone feels very premium and sturdy in your hands.

Battery : Batter is more then average , it will take you through the day with moderate to heavy usage. ( Definitely better then all iPhones )

Windows phone : I my self love the windows phone i love how it looks , it's something new and fresh compared to the other icon based OS like android and IOS , the software it self is very sleek ,smooth and fast.

Hi friends. I am new to the windows phone and coming from android.

Device- Lumia 830

I have few doubts
- how to change the picture resolution in camera.? (i had updated to the latest version, India. got all the camera features like rich capture and lumia motion everything ;))

-Watsapp is not automatically syncing when connected to internet. is there any option to change in the settings to get live notifications. same with the facebook.

- tried to import .vcf contacts from ma previous android phone via bluetooth but its not taking anything or showing anything in the contact list.

Overall a very premium build device and very great features combined with absolutely fantastic camera better than z2 in terms of picture quality not by resolution. very worth for the price got from extreme deal for RS.13700 (purchased from UAE)

Friends don't buy Nokia 830 buy Microsoft lumai 640 dual sim instead because all specs are same in Microsoft lumia 640....only 16gb memory on board and 10mp camera and u will get 8mp camera on 640... so don't waste your money. ...buy Microsoft lumia 640

hi.. its my first experience of windows phone. I bought Lumia 830 2 months before and m disappointed because i bought it for 27K and now its price is 20K.. however, windows is really good if i compare to android.. still there are some things which i am unable to discover.. If i receive a song on whtsapp, where i can find it saved on my phone like in android we find it in files manager i can not find it there in lumia... 2nd the camera.. its good but still m a bit disappointed because it shows red eye in night.. can enybody help me how to remove re eye and where i can find songs downloaded from whtsapp?

Other than this, Lumia 830 is a good phone to use...
